Choosing the right early child care and education is one of the most important decisions you'll make. Each child has different needs, progresses at their own pace and has a unique personality.
At Peaceful Valley Montessori Academy, our enrollment process is thoughtfully designed to give you the time and space to explore our school, ask questions, and observe how your child engages in our environment. We want you to feel confident that our approach aligns with your family’s values and expectations.
Schedule a tour, and we’ll send you a digital welcome package that includes our brochure, tuition rates, a comparison of Montessori and traditional education, common Montessori myths, and an application.
Scheduled Visit
Your first visit to our school is a great opportunity to learn about our programs and see Montessori in action. While you’re welcome anytime, we recommend visiting between 9 AM and 11 AM to observe a classroom in session.
During your visit, our School Leader will discuss your family’s needs, explain the Montessori approach, and walk you through our programs, enrollment process, and school policies. It’s also the perfect time to ask questions, so feel free to bring a list! Your child is welcome to join you for the visit.
Your Child’s First Day
Your child’s smooth transition into our center is very important to us. If you haven’t already met their teacher, we’ll introduce you and give your child time to get comfortable in their new classroom.
It’s normal for some children to become upset at drop-off, but these feelings are usually short-lived. Saying goodbye with a smile and a confident “see you later” helps reassure your child. You’re welcome to call later in the day to check in. While it can be hard to leave, repeated goodbyes may make it more difficult for your child to adjust. Rest assured, we will keep you informed of your child’s progress and support them every step of the way.
